Sanitary and veterinary control of goods

Composite products (foodstuff intended for human consumption that contains both processed products of animal origin and products of plant origin and includes those where the processing of primary product is an integral part of the production of the final product), listed in the Nomenclature of goods subject to sanitary and veterinary control, placed under the customs procedure of release for free circulation (Import), transit and export, shall be subject to sanitary and veterinary control by the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA).

The goods listed in Annex 1 to the Nomenclature shall be subject to veterinary control at the border inspection posts.
